This corporate holiday party was to be held at the client’s office location. Without enough space in the office for the total guest count, we needed to add some space that was conveniently located to their office.
Upon doing a walk-through of the office building, I identified an unused pod of rooms at the end of their hallway that had not yet been renovated and then made the suggestion to use the space. This previously neglected area of the building did not initially offer the right ambiance having mismatched painted brick walls, poor lighting, and some unsightly not-yet renovated rooms. It was very raw and we needed to start by camouflaging the existing space before creating the dramatic design transformation.
We placed pipe-and-drape around the full perimeter of the entire space, with multilayered drapes in some areas. We created walkways to the space and lit everything in a cool blue to coordinate with the company logo color.
With a featured performer as part of the party, we created a theater room and an adjacent lounge area. Soft seating in blue velvet, oversized floor lamps, and custom graphic tables were some of the design elements. The graphics were artfully designed incorporating the company’s logo, mission statement, and core values.
Guests enjoyed desserts from a beautiful display and mingled before and after the show in the lounge.
Guests were surprised with a gifting station after the performance where they received a gift bag filled with thoughtfully curated luxury gift items to end the evening.
