Shari and her team will design a custom event that is styled and personalized just for you. Shari provides the expertise, experience and planning continuity throughout the entire planning process. She, along with her outstanding team, will offer you concierge level support and service on your event day. We pay close attention to all of the details and organization, so that your event is “Perfectly Planned”.
Shari Zatman is a Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP) and owner of Perfectly Planned by Shari. She is an award-winning event planner, consultant, public speaker, and industry educator. Shari has more than two decades of experience in corporate, non-profit, and social events, as well as having worked as an event vendor. Shari’s leveraged these insights to develop practical educational resources for the hospitality and event management industries. Her coaching tools – which include a 100-plus page event training handbook – highlight event planning pitfalls and the skills to work through them (or even how to avoid them all together). She began her professional career in interior design and has a true passion and eye for event design. She previously served as a board member of ILEA (formerly the International Special Events Society). She’s also partner and principal planner and designer of the event production company Eventful Event Producers.
Tara obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Her background in education has uniquely prepared her for event management, as it has allowed her to develop unparalleled creativity and resourcefulness. She has a passion for bringing her clients’ visions to life and making each event unique.
Tara has been working in the event industry for over 17 years. She has held various positions at St Clair Country Club which have included Event Coordinator and Event Manager. These experiences have provided her with an in-depth understanding of all facets of event planning and execution.
Brittany is a graduate of Seton Hill University. Having always had an interest in the event industry, Brittany took on planning her own wedding and children’s parties with excitement and enthusiasm. It was while planning these events that Brittany decided she wanted to pursue a career in event coordination and management.
Brittany works as an Event Assistant at Perfectly Planned. She is an important member of the team and really enjoys being a part of the events we plan.
Caitlin graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a major in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management. After graduating from college, Caitlin held a summer internship with Perfectly Planned by Shari. Following her internship, she was hired as an Event Assistant. After two years as a team member, she became Perfectly Planned by Shari’s Social Media Manager. Caitlin is detailed oriented and has great problem-solving skills. She loves working with Shari and enjoys being part of a wonderful team of dynamic women!
Maya graduated from Ohio University in 2018 with a degree in Management and Marketing. She has had an interest in events since high school where she would shadow event planners and vendors in her free time. At Ohio University, she was the sisterhood chair for her sorority and planned events and activities for the entire chapter. After graduating, Maya accepted a position with Carnegie Mellon University as an Administrative Coordinator where she plans and coordinates meetings and social events for affiliates of the program. Maya joined the Perfectly Planned by Shari team an Event Assistant to pursue growth in her career within the event industry.
Natalie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in both Supply Chain Management and Marketing. Natalie has been with the team since 2018, beginning as an intern the summer of her junior year. She was hired as an Event Assistant shortly after and has been with us ever since! Natalie loves to be creative and work closely with other people. She finds events to be incredibly rewarding and enjoys bringing joy to our clients on their special days.
